Deep focus uses a large depth of field and the picture remains clear, sharp and in focus through out the whole shot. This can be achieved through the use of hyper-focal distance of the camera lens.
Shallow focus
Shallow focus uses a small depth of field where one plane of the image is in focus while the rest is out of focus. Shallow focus is typically used to emphasize one part of the image over an other.
